Some words from the label about Incoming Voices

« There is nothing we appreciate more besides good music than contributing to a greater cause.

Hi Profile and Phoenix Groove Records have gathered together some of the finest artists from their roster to create one of the most important VA’s to date.

Presenting a combination of our full potential and energy, this package will have a huge impact for two very significant reasons. The first is simple; it will offer nothing less than high-resolution audio cuts to entertain, filled with blissful moments and joy. Secondly, we felt that there is no better way to embrace this New Year then to donate all of the royalties gained from this particular release to Ag.Paraskevi’s Special School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Since we are all still basically children at heart, we wanted to portray the selfless and carefree attitude of children through our music. This is an idea that we have had since day one, and now that the Phoenix is in full flight, we can think of no better time to act upon it.

You can expect the same dynamic and alluring quality of our past material blended with fresh techniques and ideas. We hope that through our music it will be clear that we take the profound example of this Special School very seriously.

Like they say, school is an oasis of knowledge and experience, and we think and feel the same about Phoenix. Therefore, we simply couldn’t resist combining these two wonderful ideas. After all, to embrace life under difficult circumstances is the first step to true living.

And that is what it’s all about »

Review?

It will probably come soon… :-)

ANDERS-Morning Expressions

déc 4, 2011 by     No Comments    Posted under: Blue Hour Sounds, Partners

  His bio :

I started to listen to goa trance in the end of the 90′s and got totally enchanted by the sound and the whole concept of the psychedelic culture. After some years of visiting parties and buying records the idea of spreading musical visions on my own through the dance floor came to me. I started to DJ in 2003 after my older brother taught me some of his skills. Once I started to DJ I also begun to organize parties in the forests of Sweden and kept trying spreading the music I loved. Since goa trance has always been very near my heart it was natural to begin playing old school after some years of playing modern night time music.

Right now my evolution in music has expanded, after some years of playing goa trance, I have found new influences and inspiration from different forms of modern melodic, rythmic and atmospheric psytrance. Though I have great passion for the new sounds from our divine music artists today, you can always find some influences from the old sound of goa trance in my sets.

For me the art of djing is a oppurtunity to express musical visions, through soundscapes we are creating in oneness, and through the rythms the dancefloor creates in togetherness. I prefer to play longer sets in the morning hours, almost at twilight, to continue the journey with the dancers who are still keeping going after the powerful night time dance. Together with the sun itself we can reach even higher than we ever imagined, together. My goal with my dj-sets is to deliver a journey which express my feelings of music, life, love, travel – inner and outer and together we can explore space and time in endless soundscapes in the powerful rythms of dance..

I play both pumping psytrance and goa for the intergalactic space rollercoaster dancefloor, as well as chill-out and ambient sets for the cosy chill-out times, and since 2011 I’m proud and happy to be a part of the Blue Hour Sounds family.

To find out more about the music that I play, please enjoy my mixtapes.. (his set Morning Expressions recorded in 2011 is on the stream 100% Mixes)

Keep shining out there fellow earthlings and follow the way of love all the time..

It’s time for Aviron’s personal imprint on Phoenix Groove Records schedule and we can’t be more happier.

Tracklist :

1- AVIRON-Bradyrythmia

2-AVIRON and ENIAK-Darkness

Style :

Progressive trance

Release :

30 nov 2011

This 2 track stormer is simply ready to burst out from the speakers with its magnificent energy that flows through this work.

A shaker with crystal clear chained mellows that covers the bassline with such a style that you almost don’t notice. Moves forward a lot more cautiously into the next gen of trance, Aviron offer with his unique touch his point of view around beats. His gently throbbing, thick-throated leads embrace the old stylish air that eventually reveal the true layers of his trancy techniques.

Quintessentially Aviron and Eniak win the spot with pretty straightforward shot of looping. Gracefully rolling all the classy elements into a dynamic joint, keeping the bar high.

RITMO – Equinox Experience Set

oct 12, 2011 by     No Comments    Posted under: RITMO

RITMO promotes his last DJ Set recorded at Equinox Experience South Africa.

« Some say that our pulse gives us the rhythm of our body and life. This rhythm is changing while we walk, run, eat, jump or have sex. It’s so natural we barely notice this reoccurring cycle phenomena and continue with the soundtrack of our lives. »

Dubi Dagan, aka Ritmo, has managed to formulate a unique technique that captures moments in our lives and translates them to an addictive rhythmic Progressive Trance creation.

Dagan always had a lust for music, starting with Heavy Metal in his adolescents at the Krayiot in Israel, which satisfied his energetic soul, and fully maximized it with the help of his electric guitar.

Towards his adult life he decided to explore the electronic regimes of 80′s & New Wave bands such as Depeche Mode and gave his respect to Electronic pioneers such as Jean Michel Jarre.

When the 90′s exploded with multiplying Electronic Dance genres, Dagan had joined the ride with the likes of Prodigy, until he discovered Psytrance and realized this addiction is going to last.

After visiting in various cultural inspiration including Japan, U.S.A and India, Dagan came back to Israel and started his first steps behind the decks as a resident Dj, at the Luna Club, at Haifa.

Being a music fanatic couldn’t leave Dubi indifferent; this is why it wasn’t long before he decided to begin working on his own project, and so Ritmo was born.

This Progressive Psytrance project filled in what was missing in the Progressive Trance genre for a long time – the rhythm of our bodies and soul.

While tuning his sound skills as a sound engineer at DubiDub studios, a company responsible for dubbing television and cinema, Dagan started to experiment in order to achieve the perfect sound.

Ritmo joined the acclaimed Iono Music records in 2007, and about a year after released his first compilation ‘Grand Slam’.

Short after that, in 2008, he finally released his awaited debut album ‘Disharmonic Silence‘ and immediately gained attention and popularity, locally and globally.

Dagan has joined forces with Alon Brillant in another project called Ritree, who gave him the opportunity the toy with faster and more psychedelic tunes.

After the release of the debut album, Dagan had little rest or sleep due to the massive number of collaborations and gigs he had done across the world.

Among the many incredible events he took part in, were Fusion festival (Germany), Tribe(Brazil), XXX Perience (Brazil), 303 Art festival (Brazil), Indian Spirit festival (Germany), Spirit Base festival (Austria) and many more than can be elaborated here.

His collaborations are as exciting as his tours: Nok (EP – Multistop) which is a frequent collaboration, Ace Ventura , Liquid Soul, Symphonix, Rocky, and many more.

He released ‘Archive 9‘ in 2009 with remixes to other artists and remixes that artists made of his music, receiving amazing responses.

A year after, in 2010, he released a remix EP called ‘Music from Heaven’ on Blue Tunes records, which gave 7 interpretations to the theme track. Ritmo’s music was released on other major labels such as Iboga and Perfecto.

A fraction from his 2nd most anticipated album will land on earth soon and will mark another evolutionary step in his artistic career.
