Bloodroot Kids comes from Portland (USA).
This music project was created by Nick Green and his brother Aaron.
They play live as a DJ/Drummer/Singer/and Keyboardist, and their music is original.
As Nick said : « We have put out a handful of songs, though most of them are not trance, and they have vocals. All the same, we are open-minded, and we listen to your ambient station a lot! »
We try to open the chill-out stream to artists from the outside of the psytrance scene.
Nick sent his track « Blood Root Dub » a couple of weeks ago. He picked up this track from his album and DJ Yuman added it to the playlist.
We loved their track, we thought that you might like it as well.

Carboneids-Anthems to the twilight vol.1
I want to thank Bjorn for sharing his music with the listeners of Psychedelik.com. DJ YUMAN has selected some tracks from this E.P to add them to the chill-out stream.
Who are Carbone ids?
Carboneids consist of Claus Lynglund and Bjørn Jeppesen. (Also known for his solo releases under the name “Nattefrost”.)
All hardware & software synthesizers, vocoders, guitars and other various equipment played by Carboneids.
All tracks composed, performed and produced by Carboneids.

This 5 track EP was recorded between 2006 and 2011 at Nattefrost Studio & HZ Studio, Copenhagen, Denmark and mastered in February 2011 at KZI Studio, Russia by Alisa Coral.

More about Carboneids
The Danish band Carboneids has been releasing music since 1998. The music is very melodic and sometimes also very dreamy. The fans often claim that it sounds a bit similar to bands like Kraftwerk
and Telex.
“Synthsyg” was released in October 2005. On this record Carboneids mix elements from sequencer driven synthesizer music with electro sounds and on some tracks also vocoded vocals.
In April 2006 Carboneids were given an award from the Danish music collective “My Music”.
With “Anthems to the twilight Vol. 1” Carboneids show a more dark and melancholic side of themselves. Even it’s still really melodic and catchy the music and overall mood on “Anthems….” is
more dark and sombre.
Carboneids are also quite active when it comes to live shows. In 2008 they performed in Wuppertal, Germany and in 2009 & 2010 they visited lots of venues in Denmark and Sweden.

Who is GAUDI?
GAUDI has selected the tracklist of Everlasting, the new chill-out compilation of Iboga Records.
Recently, I started to introduce Gaudi and you can read the post —> there.
Gaudi created the next album Continuum in 2005 in collaboration with Antonio Testa, a percussionist and sound-therapist.
2006 was kicked off by a great collaborative album between Gaudi and legendary ambient music producer Pete Namlook.
Their album Re:sonate combines Pete’s trademark lenghtly meandering structures and spacey pads with Gaudi’s dub vibes and unique home-grown sounds, producing an end result that is both very Namlook and definitely Gaudi at the same time.
It was recorded at Klanglabor Hoseshof (Germany) in november 2005 and released in january 2006.
In 2006, Gaudi released the compilation Sub Signals Volume 1.

He used to wear tennis rackets on his feet to walk on the Ukrainian snow and as a young teenager he found tennis rackets could also be used for other purposes, such as smacking other humans’ heads or fishing. Andrei’s often seen on the sofa, at the computer or lying on the floor… usually with different packets of biscuits around his restful body.
« Will I blend? », he asks himself in deep moments of introspection…
« Well, it’s a matter of perspective. », is the conclusion more often reached.
One more biscuit. A chocolate one.
« I really like this track… I wonder who the artist is… hmmm… if only I didn’t have to stand up… hmmm… one more biscuit. »
The soundtrack to his peaceful existence is in tune with his plain tuna-based existence.
Complex and simple, factual and surreal, curious and sceptic, literal and wide. With a strong identity he likes to claim. Eclectic some would say.
He likes details and big windows, as long as he doesn’t have to clean them.
He does not waste paper, he uses it for origami creations which he not so often offers to his beloved ones.
Railroads are a nice walk and a source of inspiration. He aspires to live in the widest window with the best view to the longest and most twisted railroad.

Unfortunately, he stayed in the psychedelik mailbox too much longer.
A couple of weeks ago, I’ve played it again and passed it to DJ YUMAN for the ambient playlist.
DJ YUMAN didn’t waste time like I did and decided to add it to the playlist!
